Description
Before the Legan Gun Club can release Pheasants as part of a conservation program in Legan they have to be caught first!!!
The Pheasants that is!!!
Martin Burke trying to catch the Pheasants as others look on.
I tried so hard to get Mossy the dog in the shot better but as soon as I moved to a different angle she was gone.
Still I really like this shot.
Please note "The club shoots one day a year (1st November) other than that they only shoot clay pigeon. They could shoot the wild pheasants and not replace them but they're more concerned about protecting the stock of pheasants. On average there is about 25 pheasants shot by their members on the 1st November but through the year they release in the region of 200 pheasants."
